    Pay Rate:$40 54 hour

    • Flexibility in hours due to working with clients/ vendors in various time zones, mostly UK/ EMEA, occasionally APAC.

      Duties:

      The IT Sourcing & Contracts Manager will be part of the centralized Sourcing and Contract Management team for I.T department, which is responsible for global leveraging of vendor products and services, and includes sourcing and associated procurement activities, contract negotiation and life-cycle management, and overall vendor management.

    • Measure progress to meet project deadlines and service level objectives.
    • Engage with external vendors, as well as internal SMEs/Management, Finance, Legal, Privacy, Risk and VMO personnel. Provide support throughout the vendor negotiation process, facilitating requirements gathering for new contracts and contract renewals, manage the acquisition process for products and services, and facilitate resolutions to queries or concerns.
    • Ensure adherence to the rules of engagement and best practices for sourcing/negotiation process, and standard/ template contracts and contract terms for hardware, software and services. Monitor Sourcing and Contract Management processes, identifying opportunities to:

    a) Proactively communicate with internal clients/ business groups and vendors/providers;

    b) Effectively contain and reduce costs (Cost Avoidance and Cost Reduction);

    c) Efficiently create and administer contracts, including use of a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system;

    (d) Develop and maintain a broad understanding of technology and the technology industry through the assessment of emerging and changing business and technical needs, as well as industry best practices

     

    Skills:

    • Outstanding problem solving skills and ability to apply the appropriate tools and level of analysis to specific situations. Ability to handle diverse, complex assignments.
    • Strong attention to detail and knowledge of IT and contract terms.

     

    Experience:

    • 5+ years of experience with IT sourcing and contracts, including market research/ benchmarking/data analysis; requirements gathering and managing RFx process; negotiation and contract drafting.
    • Project Management training preferred.

     

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree required.
    • Certifications in Procurement, Negotiation and/or Contract Management preferred.
