We are a global studio seeking a production accountant with Uniport software experience. This is a remote role during the pandemic. The Production Accountant will support our studios day to day business needs and support current productions.
What You’ll Do:
- Handle and pay all Video Production and Creative Service invoices/POs and oversee all vendor set ups
- Work closely with Video and Creative coordinators to guarantee all payments are tracked against appropriate project budgets
- Have an understanding of the overall scope of the project’s budget and different vendors associated in order to anticipate invoices ahead of time
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule when needed (nights & weekends) and understand the needs & flow of production. After-hours work may be scheduled last minute
- Order, manage and maintain office supply inventories
- Circulate a weekly report detailing the current status of all invoices
Must Haves:- UNIPORT experience
- Strong computer skills – understanding of Microsoft Excel and Financial Payment Systems
- Experience using the Uniport payment system
- Ability to interact comfortably and effectively with employees of the company at all levels including Senior Management
- Ability to interact comfortably and effectively with external partners
- Strong people skills & communication skills needed to liaise with external vendors in particular
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Ability to work under high pressure, deadlines and speed
- Must be flexible, able to multi-task and manage time effectively
Education:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
Hours & Location:M-F, 40 hours/week. Work will be done from home until offices can safely re-open, at which time this role may be asked to come onsite. The expectation is to be onsite at Santa Monica, CA location once it is deemed safe to do so.
