    Job Description

    OFFICE MANAGER/SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETER LONG BEACH, CALIFORNIA PART-TIME (WITH POTENTIAL FOR FULL-TIME)   This is a fast-paced TICKET BROKERING BUSINESS that will allow you to use your strong communication, organizational, computer, and social media skills to contribute to the successful day-to-day operations and growth of the company.   It’s a perfect opportunity for a COLLEGE STUDENT or RECENT COLLEGE GRADUATE who has studied Computer & Office Studies and/or Marketing and is looking for a Part-Time opportunity that could well turn into a Full-Time opportunity.   You will be working alongside the owner of the company, learning a great deal about the ticket brokering business while using your hard work ethic, your communication, and your organizational skills to run the office.   As OFFICE MANAGER/SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETER, your work will never be boring and you will always stay busy. You will work closely with the owner to do the following:  

    • Provide outstanding, top-rated customer service in person and by phone
    • Fulfill and deliver orders
    • Connect with existing and prospective clients via social media, and email marketing
    • Post and sell online using Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, eBay, OfferUp, Nextdoor, and more
    • Help manage inventory levels of tickets
    • Update and create brochures, flyers, and seating charts
    • Familiarize yourself with venues and events
    • Keep office supplies stocked and organized
    • File Management – Organize paper and digital files

      REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Some familiarity with web design, Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop or Canva, Excel, Publisher, and basic graphic design
    • Email Marketing, including social media posting and general familiarity with social media
    • Create and Post Blogs

        NOTE: WE WILL TRAIN YOU AND TEACH YOU ABOUT THE TICKET BROKERING BUSINESS, BUT BASIC KNOWLEDGE OR A LOVE FOR SPORTS AND LIVE ENTERTAINMENT IS USEFUL.

      YOUR SCHEDULE: Your hours will vary depending on events. Your schedule will be flexible, but you must be available to work on weekends if needed.  Once you are completely trained to run the office and can work independently and open and close, your hours will increase.
