Large global professional services seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join their Los Angeles team.

Responsibilities:

• Providing financial and project management support to attorneys for pricing and scoping engagements.
• Assisting firm management with financial modeling of rate alternatives, supporting analysis related to requests for proposals (RFPs), and tracking engagement budgets
• Modelling matter profitability and providing scenario analysis to support pricing decisions for firm management.
• Designing templates to assist attorneys with establishing budgets. Monitoring engagements on a regular basis and provides reports to management.
• Overseeing maintenance of Rate Approval Tracking database by inputting key rate approval information. Creating analysis and designing reports/presentations to display pricing trends
• Liaising with Finance & Accounting Department staff and other administrative departments to ensure that the correct data is being captured and that the appropriate tools are available to provide accurate and timely reporting.
• Monitoring progress against economic targets and goals and initiating follow-up, as needed.
• Analyzing client performance data to identify client opportunities.
• Performing ad hoc analyses using the firm’s various data stores and tools.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is required.
• A Master's degree or equivalent in a related field is preferred.
• A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Six (6) years of financial analysis and/or project management experience is required, preferably in a professional services environment.
• Experience developing financial analysis/modeling and project tracking/reporting is preferred.
