    Job Description

    You, the Customer Marketing Manager of our dreams, are experienced in delighting customers & building a community of fanatic brand advocates through engaging marketing campaigns. As a result of your creative customer marketing campaigns, you will increase customer advocacy, loyalty, and retention.

    You are personable, outgoing, independent, and love building deep relationships with your customers. You enjoy being the liaison between customers and the rest of the organization.

    You will have a significant budget to execute your creative customer marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for hosting events, gift-giving, and in constant communication with customers to ensure client satisfaction. 

    You are not alone at Directive. You get to collaborate daily with an amazing team, each working diligently to a common goal alongside you. In this role, you will join our Client Success team and be directly reporting to our Director & VP of Client Strategy.

    Responsibilities:

    • Creating innovative & thoughtful customer marketing campaigns that delight & engage customers
    • Composing & distributing customer emails
    • Hosting events for customers (virtual & in-person after COVID-19)
    • Giving personalized gifts to customers
    • Managing a library of up-to-date customer success stories
    • Managing customer satisfaction surveys
    • Identifying happy customers for upsell, cross-sell, and advocacy opportunities
    • Providing customer feedback to client services team
    • Working with editors, writers, designers, developers, customers, and other marketers to produce customer marketing campaign assets
    • Monitoring and report on the performance of customer marketing campaigns and its impact on business objectives

    Requirements:

    • 3+ years experience in related customer marketing roles
    • Experience hosting events (virtual & in-person)
    • Experience with communicating with customers via Email
    • Polished communication and note-taking ability; ability to drive a conversation with executives and implement solutions
    • Required: Knowledge of SEO, PPC, CRO, and Marketing Analytics
    • Required: Agency experience
    • Preferred: Experience within the software industry
