DirectMailers prints millions of pieces annually, employing a distribute-then-print strategy at three regional facilities across the USA. This process delivers the mail in-home as quickly, economically and predictively as possible. We support a variety of industries, including mortgages, banking, automotive, retail and e-commerce.

The data analyst role will leverage strong problem-solving skills and hyper attention to detail to ensure our mailing campaigns go out accurately. This entry level position is a great opportunity to grow in-demand skills for more senior data/financial roles, such as SQL, Excel, data quality analysis, and automation. JOB DESCRIPTION

• Work within our mailing systems and workflows to get our campaigns out accurately
• Quality check data using simple SQL queries and/or Access
• Summarize data for quality control or ad-hoc requests using SQL and Excel
• Communicate with the rest of the team around deadlines and process improvements
• Import, export and transform sometimes large volumes of data utilizing SQL Server
• Create, modify and run data selection over large volumes of data using client’s criteria
• Efficiently navigate in a high stress, deadline intensive environment
• Interface with clients about mailing process, mailing criteria, and changes affecting deadlines

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong proficiency in Access, Excel and arithmetic
• Problem solving / analytical skills
• Being able to take large complex problems and break them down into smaller manageable tasks
• Organized and detail oriented
• Perform in a fast paced, high stress, deadline intensive environment
• Must be willing to learn new things
• Ability to construct simple SQL select queries that include basic joins and where clauses. As well as fundamental knowledge of reading stored procedure
• Basic understanding and ability to read Xml
• Some college or equivalent experience strongly desired

This is a full-time position with benefits. Salary $35,000 - $50,000 based on experience.
