People Manager
As the **Director of Applied Strategy & Market Intelligence ** , you will shape Adobe’s most consequential business decisions for our Digital Media organization. This role sits at the intersection of economics, strategy, and storytelling - where your insights will guide investments, acquisitions, and growth bets that define Adobe’s future.
You’ll architect financial and business models, develop dynamic market frameworks, and craft strategic narratives that empower senior leaders to act with confidence. If you thrive on turning complexity into clarity and influencing decisions at the highest level, this role is designed for you.
What You’ll Own
You’ll build the analytical foundation that powers Adobe’s strategic engine:
Economic Frameworks: Illuminate path-forward scenarios for major investments, acquisitions, and market developments
Business Modeling: Stress-test assumptions and reveal value creation mechanics across Adobe’s portfolio
Market Intelligence: Position Adobe ahead of competitive and industry shifts through actionable insights
Cross-Functional Alignment: Drive strategic cohesion across product, finance, engineering, go-to-market, and corporate development
Planning Rigor: Evolve modeling methodologies and strategic frameworks to accelerate the pace of Adobe’s ambition
Your Background
Bachelor’s in Business , Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a quantitative field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
10+ years in strategy , consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or strategic finance
Proven track record developing market theses, building financial models that informed major decisions, and driving cross-functional initiatives to completion
Executive presence-experience advising C-suite leaders in complex, matrixed environments
Tech-sector fluency-prior experience in software, SaaS, or technology strongly preferred.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $186,000 -- $356,800 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $246,400 - $356,800 │ In Washington, the pay range for this position is $221,800 - $321,100
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
