We are seeking an experienced Director – Cardiovascular Services to provide strategic and operational leadership across cardiovascular services and assigned clinical departments within an acute care hospital.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong clinical and operational leader with cardiovascular services experience who can partner with physicians, nursing teams, respiratory care, and executive leadership to deliver high-quality patient care and support the continued growth of cardiovascular programs.

What You’ll Do
Operations & Leadership
Direct daily operations of cardiovascular services and assigned departments
Lead staffing, departmental performance, and operational efficiency
Ensure services align with the hospital’s Plan for the Provision of Patient Care
Clinical Quality & Patient Care
Establish and maintain standards for nursing and respiratory care
Monitor quality, safety, patient outcomes, and effectiveness of care delivery
Drive continuous improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives
Program Development
Identify opportunities to develop and expand cardiovascular programs
Support new services based on community and patient needs
Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and standards
Collaboration & Strategy
Partner with physicians, medical staff, and hospital executives
Support execution of the hospital’s strategic priorities
Build strong collaboration across clinical and operational teams
What You’ll Bring
Required:
Bachelor’s degree
3–5 years of experience in an acute care hospital
2+ years of cardiovascular services or related specialty experience
Strong leadership and department management experience
Active RN license or ability to obtain a Multi-State RN License within 30 days
BLS/CPR certification within 7 days of hire
Strong communication, leadership, and operational skills
Preferred:
Master’s degree or willingness to pursue one
Cath Lab / Cardiovascular Services leadership experience
Respiratory Therapy experience
Multi-State RN License
Ideal Background
The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader with cardiovascular services experience, preferably including Cath Lab exposure, who understands both patient care and hospital operations. You should be comfortable leading teams, partnering with physicians and executives, improving clinical outcomes, and supporting the growth of cardiovascular services.
