  • Responsibilities

    HCT seeks an experienced professional to serve as the Interim Director of Continuity of Care Service - Utilization Management for a 350+ bed hospital in Southern CA.

    Responsibilities include:

    • This role oversees Utilization Management, including denials, escalations, and discharge planning, with oversight of a team of RN Case Managers.
    • Manages various Continuing Care departments as assigned, which may include 24-hour and multiple location departments.

    Requirements:

    • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN is required. Master's Degree preferred.
    • License: State of CA RN required
    • Certifications: AHA BLS required
    • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of in-patient care required AND Minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience required.
    • Computer Skills: Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) and Microsoft Office suite (e.g., MS Word, MS PowerPoint, etc.) experience preferred.
