    Position Overview

    Ampera is seeking an experienced Director of Investor Relations & Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead the company’s financial planning processes while serving as a key liaison between Ampera and the investment community. This role will play a critical part in financial forecasting, strategic planning, investor communications, and Board reporting, ensuring that the company maintains transparency, credibility, and compliance as a publicly traded organization.

    The ideal candidate will bring significant experience working within publicly traded companies, possess a deep understanding of public company financial reporting and disclosure requirements, and be comfortable engaging with executive leadership, investors, and the Board of Directors.

    Key Responsibilities

    Financial Planning & Analysis

    Lead the company’s financial forecasting and budgeting processes, including long-term financial planning and scenario modeling.

    Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and business growth.

    Provide executive leadership with data-driven insights, financial analysis, and performance reporting.

    Monitor financial performance against forecasts and identify risks and opportunities.

    Investor Relations

    Serve as a key member of the Investor Relations function, supporting communication with shareholders, analysts, and the broader investment community.

    Assist in preparing earnings materials, investor presentations, and financial messaging.

    Support the development of clear and consistent investor communications and disclosures.

    Public Company Compliance & Reporting

    Ensure financial communications align with public company disclosure requirements and regulatory standards.

    Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, and Executive Leadership to ensure accuracy and consistency in external financial messaging.

    Support preparation of materials related to earnings releases, investor updates, and other public disclosures.

    Board of Directors Coordination

    Partner with executive leadership to prepare Board of Directors materials and presentations, including financial performance updates and strategic insights.

    Coordinate financial reporting and analysis for Board meetings and committees.

    Provide analytical support and financial insights to assist the Board in evaluating company performance and strategy.

    Strategic Finance Support

    Support the CFO and senior leadership with strategic financial initiatives, capital planning, and investor messaging.

    Identify opportunities to enhance financial reporting, forecasting accuracy, and investor transparency.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).

    8–12+ years of experience in FP&A, investor relations, corporate finance, or investment banking.

    Direct experience working within a publicly traded company is strongly required.

    Strong understanding of public company financial reporting requirements, disclosure obligations, and regulatory standards.

    Experience supporting investor communications, earnings materials, and Board reporting.

    Advanced financial modeling and forecasting skills.

    Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership, investors, and Board members.

    High attention to detail with strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience in energy, infrastructure, or capital-intensive industries.

    Experience supporting IPO readiness or public company transitions.

    Familiarity with SEC reporting processes and investor communications
