People Manager
The Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic, people-centric leader to build and lead our Americas Manager Success Partner team -a group dedicated to empowering managers to lead effectively, strengthen team performance, and foster a healthy, equitable , high-trust culture! This role functions with a specialized focus on manager capability, coaching, and support .
As the leader, you will develop the vision, strategy, and operational framework for how we enable managers across the Americas region! You will partner closely with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), Talent Development, Employee Relations, and Business Leaders to deliver scalable solutions and human-centered guidance that elevates manager effectiveness at every level.
This role requires a skilled people-leader with deep experience in HR partnership, manager coaching, organizational effectiveness, and change leadership.
What You’ll Do
**Leadership & Strategy **
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team across the Americas, setting a clear vision , operating model, and success measures.
Co-c reate and refine the strategy for manager enablement in close partnership with Talent Development , including proactive engagement models, consultation frameworks, and differentiated support for new vs. experienced managers.
Serve as a senior advisor to People Leaders and cross-functional partners, representing the voice and needs of managers .
Ensure alignment with global HR strategies, Talent Management, Talent Development, and Employee Experience programs.
**Manager Coaching & Advisory **
Provide expert-level coaching to front line and senior managers (up to Director) on engagement, performance, team dynamics, change management, and complex interpersonal situations.
Guide managers through organizational processes including performance management, career development, workforce planning, and team transitions.
Support managers in building inclusive, equitable leadership practices and high-trust team environments.
Use data, insights, and diagnostics to identify manager capability gaps and recommend targeted interventions.
**Program & Operational Excellence **
Develop scalable programs, toolkits, playbooks, and frameworks that strengthen manager skills and consistency across the region.
Partner with Talent Development to enhance manager learning paths, onboarding for new managers, and leadership development offerings.
Establish feedback loops and reporting mechanisms to identify systemic issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence in how the function operates .
**Change & Organizational Effectiveness **
Partner with HR Business Partners to support organizational redesigns, strategic shifts, and transformation initiatives with a people-centered approach.
Lead or support initiatives that improve manager readiness during times of change-ensuring clarity, communication, and employee impact assessment.
Collaborate closely with Employee Relations on sensitive or complex manager scenarios, ensuring consistent, ethically sound guidance.
What You Need to Succeed
Required
10+ years of experience in HR Business Partnering, People Consulting, Talent Development, Organizational Development, or a related leadership role.
Progressive leadership experience, including leading managers or multi-disciplinary HR teams.
Demonstrated ability to coach managers and senior leaders on complex situations with sound judgment, emotional intelligence, and discretion.
Solid understanding of organizational behavior, leadership development, performance management, and change management.
Ability to navigate ambiguity, influence without authority, and build solid relationships across levels and functions.
Experience working across a matrixed, global, or enterprise-scale environment.
Preferred
Experience building a new team or function from the ground up .
Coaching certifications (ICF or similar) or advanced training in leadership development.
Expertise in organizational design, manager capability programs, or employee experience strategy.
Familiarity with data-driven insights, diagnostics, and people analytics
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $156,800 -- $308,750 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $213,200 - $308,750
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
