Medicilon USA Corp is seeking a strategic and commercially minded leader to drive our US market development and commercial marketing efforts. This role will play a critical part in expanding our visibility, credibility, and customer engagement within the US biotech and pharmaceutical market, leveraging our strong scientific foundation and established reputation in China.

The ideal candidate combines deep scientific understanding with strong commercial instincts and a hands-on approach to market growth. This individual will help position our preclinical services and mouse model capabilities more effectively in the US market by developing impactful marketing strategies, driving demand generation initiatives, and strengthening customer engagement across multiple channels.

This is not a traditional brand marketing role. We are seeking someone who can directly influence commercial growth through strategic market development, scientific communication, and customer-focused marketing initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

US Market Development & Commercial Strategy

Develop and execute strategic marketing and market development initiatives to expand the company’s commercial presence in the US.

Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive positioning to support business growth.

Partner closely with Business Development and scientific leadership to strengthen pipeline generation and customer engagement.

Help shape and localize messaging and value propositions for US-based biotech and pharmaceutical clients.

    Demand Generation & Customer Engagement

Lead targeted demand generation campaigns across digital marketing, events, webinars, and scientific outreach initiatives.

Develop customer engagement strategies that increase awareness, lead quality, and conversion opportunities.

Support commercial growth by creating programs that strengthen customer relationships and elevate market visibility.

    Scientific Content & Thought Leadership

Translate complex scientific capabilities into clear, compelling, and commercially relevant messaging.

Develop high-quality scientific marketing materials including case studies, technical content, presentations, webinars, and website copy.

Partner with internal scientific teams to build thought leadership initiatives that enhance credibility in the market.

Deliver technical seminars, lunch & learns, and other educational programs for customers and prospects.

    Digital Marketing & Market Visibility

Oversee and optimize the company website, LinkedIn presence, email campaigns, and digital marketing initiatives.

Partner with SEO and digital resources to improve visibility, engagement, and conversion metrics.

Utilize analytics and CRM data to continuously evaluate and improve marketing effectiveness.

    Events & Industry Presence

Lead planning and participation for conferences, trade shows, scientific meetings, and industry events.

Represent the company externally and strengthen relationships within the biotech and pharmaceutical ecosystem.

    Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Lead and mentor the US-based Marketing Manager with a collaborative, player-coach mindset.

Work closely with China-based marketing colleagues to ensure alignment and consistent global execution.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Development, scientific teams, and leadership to support company objectives.

    Qualifications

Ph.D., MS, or equivalent experience in biomedical sciences, pharmacology, drug discovery, or a related field.

Experience within biotech, pharma, CRO, or preclinical services environments strongly preferred.

Demonstrated success in commercial marketing, market development, scientific marketing, or strategic growth initiatives.

Strong understanding of drug discovery workflows, including small molecules and biologics.

Ability to influence commercial growth through marketing strategy, scientific communication, and customer engagement.

Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable building programs in a growing US organization.

Experience supporting lead generation, market expansion, or customer acquisition initiatives preferred.

MBA, business training, or Chinese language skills are a plus.

    Willingness to travel as needed.
