HCT is seeking an experienced nursing professional for an Interim Director, Operating Room assignment at a 350 bed hospital in northern California. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provides administrative and clinical leadership for all aspects of the Perioperative Services
• Reporting directly to the CNO, this role will manage a team of 100 FTEs
• Help grow perioperative services volume
• Makes rounds with staff, patients and physicians, listening to concerns and issues, conducting service recovery, and ensuring appropriate patient care
• Develops and fosters a solid partnership with physicians, medical staff and leaders, care  teams and other employees to facilitate and collaborate on initiatives, to resolve operational challenges and/or to improve processes.

Requirements:

• Education: BSN required; Master’s degree preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of nurse leadership experience in Perioperative Services
• License: State of California RN license in good standing required
• Certifications: AHA BLS required; CNOR, AORN; preferred
• Computer Skills: Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) and Microsoft Office suite experience
