You will guarantee that each guest receives world-class service by working directly with them to book banquet space and present options that match their needs and budgets. We also require someone with exceptional leadership abilities to supervise the banquet crew and maintain the best quality of hotel services. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with 3+ years of hospitality experience, preferably in management, and a strong commitment to client satisfaction. Responsibilities: • Send banquet event orders to on-site staff members so they are informed of necessary duties and assignments • Supervise the daily operations of the banquet are, including ordering supplies, overseeing event space set-up, and selecting staffing levels to provide an exceptional level of service • Communicate with customers to go through banquet event choices that fit their budget and go over any modifications, questions, or concerns to guarantee a great product is delivered • Assess and document the outcome of each event to propel future improvement upon all processes • Strengthen a customer-focused banquet event department continuously by developing policies, procedures, quality standards, and cost-cutting measures Qualifications: • Excellent communication skills for working with clients and other team members • High school graduate or GED equivalent with a degree in hospitality management preferred • Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience • Possess excellent computer skills, especially MS Office -Word, Excel, and Powerpoint • 3+ years managing a team in a hospitality role or equivalent culinary role
