    The Opportunity: Director of Business Development The Director of Business Development is a critical role in our company’s strategic growth. As a key member of our Leadership Team, you will develop and implement business growth strategies to drive revenue and expand our market presence. You will directly manage our rep and partner network to maximize opportunities, while also identifying and cultivating new channels and strategic partnerships within the manufacturing and sourcing sectors. This role requires a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning, coupled with technical expertise. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, sales, and strategic planning within manufacturing, direct customer sourcing, and aftermarket industries. Professional development and growth opportunities Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, geographic expansion, and strategic alliances • Manage Ameritek’s sales channels and serve as the primary contact for new business opportunities from independent sales representatives and house accounts • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and independent sales representatives • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks • Lead the creation and distribution of marketing materials, both print and digital, to expand the company’s reach and value proposition • Develop and present business proposals, reports, and forecasts to senior leadership • Establish and be accountable for key performance indicators (KPIs), adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure the successful execution of business development initiatives Qualifications: Qualifications & Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field • 7+ years of experience in technical business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within manufacturing, direct customer sourcing, and aftermarket industries • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite • Strong leadership and team management skills • Ability to travel up to 50% • Proven ability to develop and execute successful business growth strategies • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills • In-depth knowledge of the manufacturing industry, market trends, and competitive landscape • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex projects Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with global sourcing • Knowledge of several manufacturing processes, materials, and/or industries • Familiarity with quality management systems and/or regulatory compliance Compensation: $130,000 – $140,000 base plus commission
