You will be in charge of developing our sales strategy and revenue objectives, training and assessing our sales employees, and ensuring that we create new and recurring business across various hotel sectors. Responsibilities: • Formulate sales strategies that sustain high levels of occupancy and profitability in collaboration with department managers and their goals • Analyze market data and use it to develop methods for meeting financial targets, designing marketing plan deliverables, and developing an annual sales forecast • Report on sales activities for the previous and future weeks in meetings with department leaders, and prepare a monthly expense report for all hotel sales-related expenditures • Establish strategies to assist the sales team in meeting and exceeding monthly room booking goals that are aligned with overall hotel and revenue management objectives • Generate new revenue by using a targeted outbound sales strategy that includes personal calls in your network, phone solicitation to local professionals, travel agencies, and other groups or corporations Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required • Must be able to use basic computer software including Microsoft Office • Prior experience of 5+ years as a sales professional in a related field is required • Demonstrates a proven track record of success in sales through lead-generation and closing • Exemplary communication skills, leadership skills, and analytical skills Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000
