Responsibilities: Order cleaning supplies as needed, control inventory, and manage the department budget Hire and train housekeeping staff to perform cleaning duties and deliver customer satisfaction to meet our expectations Ensure all cleaning equipment is in proper working condition and make arrangements for repairs as needed Manage the daily tasks of the housekeeping department, including cleaning guest rooms and public areas Mop, vacuum, make beds, change sheets, do laundry, stock rooms, and do other cleaning duties as necessary Keep a record of areas cleaned by room attendants and make a note of any issues such as room damage or maintenance requests Write down what rooms were cleaned, report lost and found items, and any damage or repairs needed Respond to general inquiries from guests Manage the cleanliness of common spaces such as the hallways, public restrooms, and hotel lobby Qualifications: • Over 2 years of experience in guest services or hospitality • Extensive knowledge of environmental services (EVS), including detailed cleaning processes and a wide range of cleaning supplies and equipment • Over 3 years of experience as an executive housekeeper, housekeeping manager, or similar • A High school diploma or GED is required • The ideal applicant is an experienced leader who demonstrates great attention to detail and customer service skills Must be Bilingual (English / Spanish) and effectively communicate in both languages Compensation: $16 - $18 hourly
