Daft-McCune-Walker, Inc., a respected planning and design firm in Towson, MD, is seeking a visionary and experienced Director of Land Planning & Landscape Architecture to lead our planning initiatives and guide the strategic direction of our projects. This leadership role offers a competitive salary of $110,000 to $140,000 annually, commensurate with experience, and the opportunity to shape the future of land development through innovative, sustainable design. Responsibilities: • Strategic Leadership: Oversee and direct land planning and landscape architecture projects, ensuring timely and successful completion. • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the client base and expand our project portfolio. • Planning & Design Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of zoning, due diligence, and land development processes to deliver high-quality, creative solutions. • Team Collaboration: Lead and mentor a team, foster collaboration with other disciplines, and create a productive work environment. • Project Management: Manage diverse development projects, including commercial, multi-family, subdivisions, mixed-use, site plans, and urban design. Qualifications: • Licensed Professional Landscape Architect **** in the State of Maryland (required). • Degree in Landscape Architecture (required). • 8–12 years of professional experience in land and site development. • Proven expertise in commercial, multi-family, mixed-use, and urban design projects. • Strong graphic and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate and visualize design concepts. • Demonstrated leadership and staff management experience. • In-depth understanding of zoning regulations, due diligence, and planning processes. Compensation: $110,000 - $140,000 yearly
