    Why This Role Exists Truce Law is building an AI-enabled marketing engine for one of Seattle’s most distinctive law firms, and we’re looking for the leader to own it. We’re hiring a Marketing Director who can connect strategy with execution, and who is excited about using AI as a practical tool to build better systems, not as a buzzword. Truce Law has grown primarily through attorney reputation, strong brand positioning, and referrals. What’s missing is a disciplined, scalable marketing engine behind it. We have a proven service, a differentiated market position, and a monthly marketing budget of $40,000–$75,000, but not yet the strategic leadership to turn that investment into a predictable growth system. That is the mandate of this role. The Director of Marketing owns the full growth engine: channel strategy, budget allocation, brand stewardship, attribution design, and the team executing across paid, organic, and referral channels. You will sit at the center of the firm’s growth strategy, translating revenue goals into a coherent and measurable marketing system. Responsibilities: What You’ll Do • Own firm-wide marketing strategy, budget allocation (~$40,000–$75,000/month), and channel performance across paid search, LSA, Meta, SEO, email, and referral. • Lead a marketing pod of two (Digital Marketer + Content Writer), with room to grow the team as the firm scales. • Architect the firm’s AI-first marketing system, prompt libraries, team enablement, workflow design, and tool evaluation. • Rebuild and optimize the paid acquisition engine: deep keyword strategy, quality score improvement, geographic and seasonal targeting, and landing page testing. • Own the firm’s attribution framework in partnership with our Data Analyst, and connect every marketing dollar to signed clients. • Act as brand steward: final gatekeeper on all public-facing content and positioning. Qualifications: What You Bring • 5+ years of marketing experience, including 2+ years managing a team. • Proven track record managing $500,000+ in annual ad spend with documented ROAS accountability. • Advanced HubSpot Marketing Hub proficiency: attribution, workflows, and multi-channel reporting. • Strong data literacy with Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, and Meta Ads. • Demonstrated AI fluency with a commitment to deeper integration, we care more about trajectory and learning habits than snapshot expertise. Nice to Have • Experience in legal, professional services, or other high-ticket, emotionally driven industries. • Strong background in brand positioning, with the ability to attract ideal clients while filtering out poor-fit leads.
