    The mission Build the operating system for a fast-growing NYC real estate brokerage. You will turn vision into execution, knit together our tech stack, bring financial rigor, and lead the day-to-day so agents and leadership can focus on production and growth. What success looks like in your first year • Clean and current financials with a formal accounting platform in place and monthly reporting delivered on time • A simple, agent-friendly CRM and pipeline dashboard live and adopted across the team with weekly and monthly rollups • Transaction coordination is humming with clear workflows that work for New York City’s non-standard process • A marketing cadence that is planned, measured, and reviewed, with clear accountability for internal and external contributors • Onboarding and office operations that feel smooth to agents and candidates • Vendor relationships are organized and leveraged for value and sponsorships where appropriate • The Principal has a true thought partner who can translate ideas into plans, say no when needed, and keep the company focused Compensation • Base salary targeted at 100,000 plus • Performance bonus paid quarterly or annually and tied to profitability and growth benchmarks that we set together • Benefits and details discussed during interviews Responsibilities: What You Will Do: Own Operations and Delivery • Lead and develop support staff across transaction coordination, executive assistance, and marketing execution • Standardize and document processes that fit NYC realities and keep deals moving even when nothing is routine • Oversee onboarding, office logistics, calendaring of trainings, and day-to-day brokerage needs Bring Financial Discipline • Stand up and maintain an accounting system such as QuickBooks or Xero • Build budgets, forecasts, and monthly P and L reporting with variance analysis and simple dashboards that leadership can consume at a glance • Partner on a quarterly bonus plan tied to firm profitability and growth milestones Make Data Visible and Usable • Select or refine CRM and reporting so agents and leaders can see the pipeline, goals, and performance daily • Implement weekly pipeline reviews and monthly scorecards Direct Marketing At A High Level • Translate leadership vision into a plan and calendar, then hold internal and external marketers accountable for outcomes • Inspect what you expect across campaigns, listings, brand growth, and recruiting enablement Steward Platforms and Vendors • Administer and optimize the Side-provided tech stack and related tools • Manage vendor relationships and explore sponsorship opportunities for events Qualifications: • Meaningful operations leadership in a high pace environment. NYC residential real estate experience is strongly preferred • Fluency with modern tools. You connect systems, learn new platforms quickly, and help others use them well • Finance comfort. You can build a budget, read a P and L, and explain the story behind the numbers • Marketing literacy. You do not need to design, but you can translate strategy into plans and inspect execution • People leadership that is calm, clear, and consistent. You set priorities, coach for outcomes, and protect focus • A startup mindset. You are steady in the swirl, proactive, and comfortable iterating in public • Executive presence. You can challenge the Principal respectfully, turn brainstorming into action, and keep promises Team Structure and Scope • Direct oversight of transaction coordination, executive assistance, and marketing execution • Close partnership with a separate sales leadership role for recruiting and production coaching • Works hand in hand with the Principal as a thought partner Work Style • Fast-moving environment with changing priorities and frequent collaboration in the office • Not a standard nine-to-five. There are peak periods around launches and production pushes Compensation: $100,000 yearly based on experience
