About the Role:

Project Redirect Inc of the District is looking for a driven and experienced Director of Operations to lead and elevate our organizational performance in Queens, NY. Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage daily operational functions across all departments to ensure efficiency and effectiveness

Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and strategic plans aligned with organizational goals

Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams to drive performance and accountability

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare operational reports for senior leadership

Manage budgets, resource allocation, and cost-control measures to maximize organizational impact

Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and funding agencies

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and organizational policies

Identify operational challenges and implement continuous improvement strategies

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (Master's preferred)

5+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations management

Proven track record of managing budgets, staff, and multi-departmental operations

Experience in nonprofit, community services, or social services sectors is a strong plus

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Proficiency in operational software, data management, and reporting tools

Strong understanding of compliance, grant management, and regulatory requirements

Collaborative, mission-driven leader with a passion for community impact
