A high-volume, top-tier New York City real estate team at Douglas Elliman is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to oversee transaction coordination, sales support, and daily in-office operations. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and understands the full lifecycle of residential real estate transactions in New York City. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Manhattan. Responsibilities: Transaction Coordination and Deal Management • Oversee all transactions from accepted offer through closing or lease commencement • Coordinate with attorneys, managing agents, lenders, title companies, and internal compliance • Track critical dates, contingencies, board packages, approvals, and closing logistics • Proactively identify and resolve issues that could delay or derail transactions • Maintain accurate transaction records and reporting Sales Support and Agent Enablement • Support agents with listing launches, marketing timelines, and deal execution • Serve as the point person for agents on operational questions and process flow • Ensure listings, contracts, and documentation are accurate, complete, and compliant • Maintain consistency and professionalism across all client-facing materials Office Operations and Team Support • Oversee daily office operations and workflows • Coordinate with marketing, administrative staff, and external vendors • Maintain, enforce, and improve internal systems, checklists, and standard operating procedures • Ensure deadlines are met, and standards are upheld across the team Qualifications: • Minimum 5+ years of experience in residential real estate operations, transaction coordination, or sales support • Deep familiarity with NYC real estate transactions, including co-ops, condos, and rentals • Strong understanding of contracts, board packages, compliance, and closing processes • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven • Confident communicator able to manage multiple stakeholders professionally • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment • Proficiency with industry-standard real estate tools and platforms Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 yearly
