    Do you enjoy meeting new people, driving sales, and witnessing the fruits of your labor? We're looking for a dedicated director of sales to assist the hotel in reaching its sales targets. You'll be in charge of developing our sales strategy and goals, training and assessing our sales force, collaborating with sales managers, and ensuring that we create new and recurring business from various hotel sectors. Responsibilities: • Coordination with the management team and department heads in designing and implementing sales strategies to achieve high occupancy and profitability • Boost revenue and increase new guest visits through strategic outbound sales efforts that may include phone solicitation to local professionals, corporations, and members of your personal network • Design a strategy to meet hotel financial goals, create marketing deliverables, and develop an annual sales forecast by analyzing market data • Create methods to help the sales team reach and surpass monthly room booking targets that are in line with the hotel's overall revenue management goals • Deliver previous and upcoming week's sales activity reports, as well as monthly sales expense reports, and meet with department managers to keep them up to date on all hotel sales-related expenses Team Leadership: • Lead and motivate the sales team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. • Build rapport and trust with all agents and staff members. Hiring and Training: • Recruit, hire, and onboard new agents at the hub. • Develop and implement training programs to enhance agent skills and knowledge. Coaching and Accountability: • Provide ongoing coaching and support to agents, holding them accountable for their performance. • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Sales Performance: • Maintain a significant personal sales business as a top producer on The Scott Varley Team. • Set and monitor sales targets for the team, ensuring they are met or exceeded. Client Consultation: • Consult with clients to ensure exceptional service throughout the real estate transaction process. • Conduct high-level fiduciary needs analyses for buyers and sellers. Lead Generation: • Actively prospect for leads and generate business for both the team and individual agents. • Develop and implement lead generation strategies to maximize opportunities. Market Knowledge: • Develop expert knowledge of mortgage financing, local neighborhoods, schools, and homeownership issues. • Stay updated on industry trends and changes to inform sales strategies. Learning and Development: • Commit to personal and team growth by attending and leading training courses. • Facilitate scripts and dialogue practices to improve sales techniques. Communication and Collaboration: • Maintain regular communication with team owners, agents, and clients to foster strong relationships. • Collaborate with other departments to align business strategies and objectives. Reporting: • Prepare and present sales performance reports to executive leadership. • Identify opportunities for improvement based on data analysis and market trends. Qualifications: • Must be able to use basic computer software including Microsoft Office • We prefer someone with prior hospitality experience but is not required • Proven track record of sales success in lead-generation and closing skills • Exemplary communication skills, leadership skills, and analytical skills • This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field • Prior experience of 5+ years as a real estate sales professional is required • Excellent sales and negotiation skills with a track record of high performance • Proven track record of sales success in lead generation and closing skills Compensation: $150,000 at plan
