    We're searching for a motivated team player with outstanding business skills to be the next director of sales and marketing at our busy hotel. You'll be in charge of developing a revenue management strategy to maximize profitability for everyday sales in areas such as rooms, dining, catering, and events. This dynamic leader is the voice of our brand and manages the marketing budget to enable the development of property-specific campaigns, promotions, and collateral to generate revenue and meet property targets. Responsibilities: • Hire, train, and motivate your team to provide better customer service to your clients • Evaluate market trends to determine pricing to balance costs, competition, and supply and demand • Generate new business while also increasing customer loyalty by cultivating long-term relations with patrons • Produce accurate sales reports that include marketing budgets, current market share, direct sales, and outline marketing strategies • Actively seek new business using marketing campaigns, telemarketing, e-commerce, site visits, and other methods Qualifications: • Thorough knowledge of marketing strategies and best practices for a sales department • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably with some experience in a sales management role • Computer skills are needed for this position, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel • This position requires a high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor’s degree in marketing or hospitality being preferred • Prior hotel sales experience is required Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 yearly
