Responsibilities: • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to identify and secure new catering opportunities • Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to continuously expand and enhance our catering services • Analyze market data and use it to develop methods for meeting financial targets, designing marketing plan deliverables, and developing an annual sales forecast • Boost revenue and increase new guest visits through strategic outbound sales efforts that may include phone solicitation to local professionals, corporations, and members of your personal network • Coordination with the management team and department heads in designing and implementing sales strategies to achieve high occupancy and profitability • Establish strategies to assist the sales team in meeting and exceeding monthly room booking goals that are aligned with overall hotel and revenue management objectives • Report on sales activities for the previous and future weeks in meetings with department leaders, and prepare a monthly expense report for all hotel sales-related expenditures Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in hospitality sales • Must have a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field • Prior experience of 5+ years as a sales professional in a related field is required • Strong analytical skills, communication skills, and leadership skills • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office • Previous hospitality industry experience preferred but not required Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 yearly
