    Extended Stay America Suites – Katy, TX is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Director of Sales to lead the hotel’s commercial strategy and drive revenue performance before opening and well into ongoing operations. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in launching and positioning a premier extended-stay property in the market. Position Overview The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy that maximizes revenue across all segments. This leader will build and nurture strategic partnerships within the local community and key feeder markets while driving top-line performance. This role oversees the full sales cycle—from prospecting and client acquisition to account management, reporting, and long-term business development—ensuring sustained growth and market penetration. Responsibilities: • Coordination with the management team and department heads in designing and implementing sales strategies to achieve high occupancy and profitability • Organize meetings with department heads, report on sales activity for the previous and upcoming weeks, and produce a monthly expense report for all hotel sales-related expenses • Solicit new guests with targeted outbound sales initiatives, such as personal calls to your network and phone solicitations to local professionals, travel agencies, and other groups that will generate new revenue Qualifications: • Prior experience in the hospitality field is a plus • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office • Strong analytical skills, communication skills, and leadership skills • Proven track record of sales success in lead-generation and closing skills Compensation: $65,000 - $70,000 + bonus potential
