Director of Sales & Marketing – Full-Service Hotel (Confidential Listing) Location: Greater Denver Metro Area We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the revenue generation efforts for a full-service hotel in the Greater Denver Metro Area. This property caters to a diverse mix of corporate, group, and leisure travelers and offers a strong food and beverage program. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can drive top-line performance, develop high-performing teams, and position the hotel competitively within the market. Position Overview The Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies, leading the sales team, and driving revenue across all market segments. This position works closely with hotel leadership and reports to regional leadership. Responsibilities: Strategic Planning & Revenue Generation • Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue goals across corporate, group, and leisure segments • Identify new business opportunities and market trends to maximize occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR • Lead proactive and reactive sales efforts, including key account management and new business development Team Leadership & Development • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering accountability and results-driven performance • Set clear performance expectations, monitor progress, and provide ongoing coaching and development • Create a collaborative and motivated sales culture aligned with overall hotel goals Client Relationship Management • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, third-party partners, and community organizations • Conduct regular client visits, site tours, and participate in networking and industry events • Position the hotel as a preferred choice within the competitive set Sales Performance & Reporting • Monitor and analyze sales metrics, pace, and production reports to adjust strategies as needed • Prepare and present regular performance reports, forecasts, and action plans to hotel and regional leadership • Manage departmental budgets and ensure effective allocation of resources Cross-Functional Collaboration • Partner closely with operations, revenue management, and food & beverage teams to align on overall hotel strategy • Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and positioning strategies • Ensure seamless communication between sales and on-property teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences Market Intelligence & Positioning • Conduct ongoing market research and competitive analysis • Stay informed of industry trends, local demand drivers, and emerging opportunities • Adjust strategies to maintain and grow market share Qualifications: • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in hotel sales and marketing leadership • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets in a full-service hotel environment • Strong background in group, corporate, and leisure segment sales • Demonstrated leadership ability with experience building and managing high-performing teams • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills • Strong analytical and financial acumen, with experience in forecasting and budgeting • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment • Proficiency with hotel sales systems, CRM tools, and reporting platforms • Must be authorized to work in the United States
