People Manager
As the Director of Strategic Planning, you will build the operating system that enables Adobe to plan with precision and execute with excellence. This is no t about supporting strategy - it's about architecting and driving the operating infrastructure that drives the business.
In this role, y ou'll engineer the planning frameworks, design the artifacts , and establish the rhythms that turn ambiguity into action and drive value for stakeholders and the business . What You'll Own
You'll architect the planning infrastructure that defines operational excellence at Adobe:
Operating Rhythm Design: Architect the end-to-end strategic planning system - from annual planning cycles to quarterly business reviews - that drives clarity, accountability, and performance across the organization
Planning Infrastructure: Design and build the complete suite of assets, artifacts, and templates that enable seamless execution: planning frameworks, scorecard architectures, executive dashboards, review deck structures, and governance models
Forum Orchestration: Define the structure and cadence of key business forums - Kick-Offs , Planning S essions, Strategy Reviews - ensuring each moment is purposeful, productive, and drives the business forward
Executive Partnership: Build deep partnerships with senior leaders, leveraging high emotional intelligence to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics, drive alignment, and influence decisions at the highest levels
Organizational Transformation: Lead change initiatives that elevate how Adobe plans and operates, introducing best-in-class methodologies while adapting them to Adobe's culture and ambition
Your Background
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
10+ years in strategy and operations or management consulting with a proven track record of building operating systems from the ground up
Recognized expertise in architecting strategic planning frameworks - you've designed operating rhythms multiple times for large enterprises and can articulate what makes them work
Master craftsperson - deep experience creating the templates, scorecards, dashboards, and artifacts that power great operations; your work brings clarity to complex ity
Executive presence and influence - demonstrated success partnering with and advising C-suite leaders in complex, matrixed environments
High emotional intelligence - exceptional ability to read dynamics, build trust, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
Tech-sector fluency - prior experience in software, SaaS, or technology strongly preferred
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $153,200 -- $299,700 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $207,000 - $299,700
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
