    • $195 - 215k and bonus

    Position Summary

    This senior leadership role is responsible for building and scaling a Data Center Engineering and Compliance practice, combining deep technical expertise in large-load interconnection studies with strategic business development. The position leads complex power systems modeling efforts, drives regulatory compliance initiatives, and grows client relationships across hyperscalers, utilities, and EPC firms while developing a high-performing engineering team.

    Job Function

    • Lead complex interconnection studies including system impact, facility, stability, short-circuit, and deliverability analyses
    • Oversee large-load dynamic and EMT modeling for hyperscale data centers
    • Direct compliance efforts across NERC and FERC standards
    • Develop engineering solutions across generation, transmission, substations, and behind-the-meter systems
    • Establish technical standards, perform peer reviews, and ensure quality of deliverables
    • Build and execute commercial strategy including pricing, partnerships, and market expansion
    • Develop relationships with hyperscalers, utilities, EPC firms, and regulatory entities
    • Lead proposal development and secure high-value engineering engagements
    • Represent the organization at industry events, working groups, and conferences
    • Build, mentor, and manage a team of senior power systems engineers
    • Establish hiring strategies, utilization models, and project management standards
    • Collaborate with executive leadership on strategy, capacity planning, and practice growth

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required
    • Master’s degree in Power Systems preferred
    • 10–15+ years of power systems engineering experience
    • Experience supporting data centers, hyperscalers, or large-load interconnection projects
    • Prior leadership or practice management experience preferred

    Qualifications

    • Strong expertise in power system modeling tools such as PSS®E, PSCAD, TSAT, PowerFactory, ASPEN, and RTDS
    • Proven experience leading system impact and facility studies across major ISOs/RTOs
    • Deep understanding of NERC reliability standards and compliance requirements
    • Knowledge of full power value chain including generation, transmission, and distribution systems
    • Experience working with utilities, EPC firms, and large infrastructure clients
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and grow engineering services revenue
    • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
    • Ability to operate in fast-paced, high-growth environments
    • Willingness to travel approximately 25–35%
