    About the Job

    Our Client, a rapidly growing healthcare organization, is seeking a dynamic Director of Accounting to lead and elevate its accounting operations. This role is central to ensuring financial accuracy, strengthening internal controls, and streamlining processes as the company continues its expansion. You will oversee accounting for multiple legal entities across several states, manage a talented team, and collaborate closely with leadership to support strategic growth initiatives.

    Your Role

    • Lead and manage accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and cash management

    • Oversee month- and year-end close processes for 60+ legal entities across multiple states

    • Ensure GAAP compliance, strong internal controls, and audit readiness

    • Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals

    • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and department heads to provide actionable financial insights

    • Drive process improvements and implement efficiencies within NetSuite and other financial systems

    • Oversee financial reporting for grants and federal funds

    • Serve as a key partner to leadership, equity partners, and stakeholders on financial matters

    How You Qualify

    Must-Have:

    • CPA (highly preferred)

    • 3–4 years of public accounting audit experience followed by industry leadership roles

    • 7+ years progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years managing teams

    • Expertise in GAAP compliance and multi-entity accounting

    • Strong Excel and financial systems skills, with NetSuite experience a plus

    Prefer:

    • Healthcare experience (IPAs, MSOs, ACOs, Medicare Advantage)

    • Experience with mergers and acquisitions accounting

    • Exposure to companies with $3M–$50M revenue
