We are a fast-growing, private equity-backed company seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Director of Finance & Accounting to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and accounting expertise, along with a keen interest in mergers and acquisitions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting functions, including A/R, A/P, GL, bank account management, and cash reconciliation.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review periodic financial statements, providing key insights to the CFO and executive team.
• Support acquisition diligence and post-close integration efforts.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process and external audit coordination.
• Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies.
• Handle additional responsibilities as needed to achieve individual, departmental, or organizational objectives.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in financial system integration, cash reconciliation, and GAAP accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software; experience with Sage Intacct is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• CPA designation preferred.
