Director of Administrative Computing
Role: Directs the day to day operations of the administrative application software, plans, develops, and maintains administrative systems.
The salary range for this postion is $97,443.84-$146,165.76

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
30% | Responsible for the overall systems design and operation of the Administrative ERP systems for Grayson College such as CAMS Enterprise and various third party applications.
15% | Supports all administrative data systems with a primary focus on Admissions, Financial Aid, Registration, Human Resources, online web interfaces, and various reporting processes.
10% | Performs problems analysis and troubleshooting of the enterprise database infrastructure. As such, leads problem solving efforts often involving other technical staff, multiple outside vendors and other college department directors.
10% | Oversees and participates in the development of highly technical specifications for hardware and software to be utilized by the college; reviews, recommends and adapts purchased products for users; maintains awareness of state of the art technology, recommends changes and updates to keep college administrative systems current; develops and recommends the annual budget for administrative computing.
10% | Troubleshoots and resolves hardware and software issues relating to accessing the administrative CAMS and GP systems. Assists end users with CAMS, GP, and database development on the administrative servers.
10% | Responsible for security measures and access to administrative systems.
10% | Supervises, trains and evaluates staff members responsible for the delivery of administrative technical support services; provides staff direction for new and ongoing projects.
5% | Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements:
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: Five years to ten years of similar or related experience.
Education: A Bachelor's degree.
Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or can be of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.
Physical Requirements: The work is typically sedentary. However, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to do the work.
Work Environment: Regular exposure to favorable conditions such as those found in a typical office.
