Position Overview
The Director of Admission is responsible for leading and executing all aspects of the student recruitment, admissions, and enrollment process at Concord Preparatory School. This role requires a strategic and relationship-driven professional who can effectively engage prospective families, manage the admissions pipeline, and collaborate across departments to achieve enrollment goals.
The ideal candidate will combine data-informed decision-making with strong interpersonal skills, a service mindset, and a passion for education.
Key Responsibilities Admissions & Enrollment Management
Manage and respond promptly to all digital leads, inquiries, and applications from prospective families, nurturing relationships throughout the admissions process.
Own campus enrollment targets and related performance metrics; continuously track progress and develop action plans to meet or exceed goals.
Utilize effective consultative sales techniques and relationship-building strategies to improve engagement and conversion rates at every stage of the admissions funnel.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Fusion’s CRM software and ensure data integrity.
Outreach & Community Engagement
Prospect, develop, and execute outreach strategies to build professional partnerships and referral networks within the community.
Represent the school in community events, fairs, and professional organizations to strengthen Concord Prep’s visibility and reputation.
Connect families, students, and staff with professional and community resources that enhance the Concord experience.
Events & Marketing Collaboration
Plan, coordinate, and oversee on-campus and community events, including open houses, shadow days, and prospective family visits.
Partner with the Marketing Department to design and execute marketing campaigns aligned with enrollment goals.
Manage the local marketing budget and ensure cost-effective allocation of resources.
Data, Forecasting & Reporting
Forecast sales and enrollment outcomes, tracking performance against key indicators.
Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement; prepare regular reports for leadership.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and best practices in independent school admissions and enrollment management.
Collaboration & Leadership
Work closely with the campus leadership team to address operational needs, resolve challenges, and align enrollment strategies with school-wide initiatives.
Collaborate with regional and national admissions, marketing, and support teams to ensure consistent communication and effective execution.
Support a positive, mission-driven campus culture and serve as a visible ambassador of Concord Preparatory School’s values and philosophy.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Education, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Experience
3–5+ years of experience in admissions, outreach, consultative sales, business development, or event planning.
Prior experience in an educational setting is strongly preferred.
Proven ability to build and maintain professional referral networks that drive organizational growth.
Skills & Competencies
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with diverse audiences.
Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and leveraging insights for decision-making.
Strong organizational and project management abilities with attention to detail.
