Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Amazon Advertising Director to lead and optimize paid advertising strategy across multiple consumer brands. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with deep expertise in Amazon Ads, the ability to manage internal execution and/or external agencies, and a proactive approach to staying ahead of Amazon's constantly evolving advertising platform. Experience with replenishable consumer products is strongly preferred.
Requirements
• 5+ years of Amazon advertising experience
• Deep knowledge of Amazon Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, DSP, and AMC
• Experience managing significant Amazon advertising budgets
• Experience managing agencies or in-house advertising teams
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
• Comfortable using AI and emerging marketing technologies
• Experience with replenishable consumer products preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
Responsibilities
• Own Amazon advertising strategy across multiple brands
• Develop, execute, and optimize Amazon PPC campaigns
• Manage agency relationships or oversee advertising execution internally
• Analyze campaign performance and improve ROAS, TACoS, and profitability
• Stay current on new Amazon advertising features and best practices
• Collaborate with leadership on growth opportunities
• Build reporting and performance dashboards
• Mentor and develop team members as the organization grows
Must-Haves
• Extensive Amazon Ads experience
• Able to personally execute and optimize Amazon advertising
• Experience managing agencies or advertising teams
• Strong understanding of Amazon advertising metrics and reporting
• Highly proactive and continuously learning new Amazon features
• Leadership mindset with operational execution
