Our client, a growing nutraceutical contract manufacturer, is seeking a high-impact Director of Business Development to drive significant revenue growth through new business development and strategic account expansion. This is a senior individual contributor role, ideal for a proven rainmaker with an established book of business in nutraceutical contract manufacturing.
The ideal candidate brings $10M–$20M+ in existing client relationships, understands how to sell profitable, value-based manufacturing solutions (not skinny-margin commodity work), and is motivated by the opportunity to help scale a business toward $100M+ in revenue.

Key Responsibilities
Drive new business acquisition within the nutraceutical contract manufacturing sector
Leverage an existing book of business ($10M–$20M+) to generate immediate revenue impact
Develop strategic relationships with brand owners, founders, and executive decision-makers
Sell high-value manufacturing solutions across capsules, tablets, powders, and liquids
Prioritize strong-margin business aligned with the company’s operational strengths
Partner cross-functionally with Operations, R&D, and Leadership to ensure successful client onboarding
Represent the company at key industry events and trade shows
Contribute to commercial strategy and, over time, build and mentor a sales team
Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven track record selling nutraceutical contract manufacturing services
Demonstrated book of business between $10M–$20M+ in annual revenue
Strong understanding of margin management and value-based selling
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently
Strategic communicator who aligns with culture-focused, growth-oriented environments
Comfortable operating at both tactical and executive levels
Prior experience building or scaling a sales function is a plus
Base salary + Commission/Bonus (to be determined)
