Role Overview:

As the Director of Business Development, you will own strategic revenue growth for Lions & Tigers’ professional services and consulting offerings. You are responsible for sourcing, shaping, and closing new business, as well as expanding high-value enterprise partnerships through consultative, outcome-driven sales.
This role sits at the intersection of sales leadership, partnership development, and solution design. You will work closely with Marketing, Client Experience, Fulfillment, and Executive Leadership to translate market opportunities into scalable, high-impact client solutions.
This is a full-time position. While this role is primarily remote, candidates must be based in the Greater Seattle area for occasional in-person client meetings, partner engagements, and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
Accountable for net-new revenue growth, strategic partnerships, and pipeline development across enterprise and mid-market prospects.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Own the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through deal close for professional services and managed services offerings
- Build and manage a high-quality pipeline aligned to growth targets, with a focus on enterprise clients and strategic partners
- Lead consultative sales conversations that uncover client challenges, objectives, and long-term transformation goals
- Shape solution scopes, pricing models, and commercial structures in partnership with client experience and finance teams
- Consistently meet or exceed revenue, pipeline, and expansion targets
Strategic Partnerships & Market Expansion
- Develop partnerships that drive co-sell, referral, and long-term growth opportunities
- Identify emerging client needs, service offerings, and market trends to inform go-to-market strategy
- Collaborate with Marketing and Leadership on thought leadership, demand generation, and sales enablement initiatives
- Represent Lions & Tigers with credibility and confidence to senior client and partner executives
Enterprise Solution Design & Deal Alignment
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales motions that require customized service solutions
- Partner closely with client experience and fulfillment leaders to ensure solutions are designed for successful execution
- Ensure smooth handoff from sales to client experience, with clear expectations and success metrics
Internal Collaboration & Sales Leadership
- Work cross-functionally with client experience, fulfillment, finance, and marketing to support scalable growth
- Provide insight and feedback to executive leadership on pipeline health, deal risk, and growth opportunities
- Help evolve Lions & Tigers’ business development strategy, processes, and sales playbooks as the organization grows
About You:
- 5+ years of experience in professional services sales, business development, or strategic partnerships
- Proven track record of closing complex, consultative deals in a services-based business
- Experience selling staffing solutions or project-based professional services at the enterprise or mid-market level
- Strong executive presence and comfort engaging senior leaders across multiple functions
- Strategic and consultative mindset with the ability to link client challenges to service-based solutions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptability to CRM and sales enablement tools
- Global and cultural awareness; experience working in diverse, distributed, and inclusive teams
- Ability to meet with clients and partners in person as needed
- Comfortable operating in a remote-first environment
Compensation and Benefits Overview:
- Compensation: Base salary range of $130,000–$155,000 annually, plus performance-based incentives with on-target earnings (OTE) typically between $180,000–$220,000, depending on performance (DoP)
