Director of Business & Finance Operations:
South Florida Construction Company, on track for continued growth, is hiring a Director of Business & Finance Operations. This is a hands-on role overseeing Finance, Warehouse, Procurement, and Administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all financial operations, including QuickBooks Desktop management, month-end close, reconciliations, and variance reporting.
Provide accurate project/job-cost insights, including labor efficiency and material performance.
Manage cash flow cycles typical of construction-style projects; support forecasting and modeling for potential acquisitions.
Oversee warehouse, inventory, and administrative functions with a focus on leadership, effective execution of processes and accountability.
Maintain compliance for payroll and sales tax; manage insurance and key vendor relationships.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure seamless, accurate, and efficient financial operations.
Present clear monthly financial updates to leadership and contribute to operational decision-making.

Qualifications:
7+ years in finance or business operations (construction/ trades strongly preferred).
Advanced QuickBooks Desktop and Excel skills required.
Experience serving as a Senior Leader overseeing business and finance operations, aligning team performance with organizational strategy and financial objectives.
Experience with job costing, WIP, and project-based financial workflows.
CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $140-170k
