Director of Construction

Titan Placement Group invites you to explore an opportunity in Sarasota, Florida. This position is with a respected healthcare organization that maintain its own in-house construction team responsible for approximately 25-30 apartments and other space planning projects annually.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary range is $110,000 to $125,000 based on experience
• Benefits are effective day one of employment

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage multiple construction and renovation projects simultaneously
• Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments to maintain progress and quality standards
• Conduct site visits and remain actively engaged with on-the-ground operations
• Monitor schedules and costs, providing updates to leadership as needed
• Lead a team of approximately 15 FTEs and multiple subcontractors
• Troubleshoot project obstacles and enforce accountability to prevent delays and inefficiencies
• Report directly to the Vice President of Construction and work closely with executive leadership

Requirements

• Must be a Certified General Contractor (or actively eligible to transfer from residential to general contractor license)
• Minimum of 3-5 years of construction project management experience
• Proven ability to manage complex construction timelines and budgets
• Experience working with vendors and subcontractors
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Must be hands-on and comfortable with on-site leadership ("boots on the ground")
• Willingness to work 50-hour weeks; Monday through Friday, typically 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
