    150 – 170K
    Schedule: Hybrid – approx. 4 days in-office initially, flexible thereafter

     

    Position Overview

    Join a mission-driven nonprofit as the Director of Development, where you will be responsible for building and leading an in-house development department that supports a diverse range of impactful services. You will focus on sourcing major funding, corporate partnerships, and organizing creative fundraising events to help advance the organization’s vision.

    The Ideal Candidate

    • 5–7+ years of successful fundraising or donor relations experience

    • Charismatic communicator who can build trust and relationships with donors

    • Creative thinker with the initiative to build a department from the ground up

    • Strategic, with a passion for social impact and the organization’s mission

    • Comfortable representing the organization in meetings, pitches, and public forums

    Key Responsibilities

    • Create and implement a fundraising strategy aligned with organizational goals

    • Cultivate and manage donor relationships, corporate sponsors, and foundations

    • Organize events and campaigns to drive donor engagement and support

    • Build infrastructure for tracking, reporting, and stewarding contributions

    • Collaborate with leadership to identify funding needs and priorities

    • Develop messaging that resonates with a broad and diverse donor base

    Qualifications and Must-Haves

    • Proven track record in securing major gifts or funding from diverse sources

    • Experience managing or building a development department is a plus

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Highly organized, analytical, and mission-aligned

    • Able to commute to Seagate and work on-site as needed during onboarding
