    The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, experience bringing new products to market, and a proven track record of managing engineering teams and projects within the manufacturing industry. Veterans are encouraged to apply!

    Position: Director of Engineering and New Product Development

    Compensation: $160K-$170K + Bonus

    Location: Atlantic County, NJ (Hybrid 1-2 days per week in office)

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and inspire a team of talented engineers to develop state-of-the-art leak prevention systems for roofs and walls
    • Oversee the creation of next-generation storm shelter technologies that exceed code requirements and ensure occupant safety during extreme weather events, using 3D CAD modeling software (SolidWorks and AutoCAD)
    • Drive product innovation from concept to market, applying strategic vision and technical expertise, including: product requirements, product design, product COGS, and product field installation process
    • Prepare construction estimates and budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting of costs.
    • Manage complex engineering projects for diverse applications, including hospitals, data centers, and K-12 schools

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
    • Proven experience in designing and bringing new products to market.
    • Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other relevant software.
    • Experience with sheet metal fabrication and equipment
    • Leadership experience in manufacturing or related industries.
