Quest (www.questenergygroup.com) is Houston's Leading Executive Search Firm supporting Oil and Gas, Industrial, Technology, Aerospace.

We are seeking a Director of EHST to lead a dedicated Safety Services Business Unit that delivers Environmental, Health, Safety, and Training (EHST) solutions directly into the industrial market — including downstream, petrochemical, oil & gas, and EPC sectors. This is a P&L leadership role, responsible for building, scaling, and commercializing EHST services as a revenue-generating business line, not just internal compliance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and grow the EHST Services Division as a strategic business unit with full P&L ownership.
    • Champion external delivery of safety services across client sites, projects, and facilities.
    • Drive M&A opportunities to expand market share and service capabilities.
    • Develop scalable frameworks for safety staffing, training, industrial hygiene, rescue, medical, and compliance services.
    • Partner with executive leadership, sales, and operations to identify market opportunities and deliver tailored solutions.
    • Build and mentor a high-performing EHST team; drive a culture of safety, accountability, and innovation.

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years of leadership experience in EH&S, industrial services, or related sectors.
    • Proven success leading external safety service delivery (contract safety, training, rescue, or compliance).
    • Strong business acumen; track record of P&L ownership and growth strategy execution.
    • M&A experience (evaluation, integration, or scaling acquired service lines) strongly preferred.
    • CSP and MBA highly desired.
    • Exceptional leadership, client engagement, and communication skills.

    Why This Role

    • This is a rare opportunity to lead and shape a market-facing EHST business unit within a growing organization — driving strategy, growth, and innovation at the intersection of safety and business.
