    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Strategy and Client Relations

    Build relationships with clients and manage event sales for all Journeyman properties.

    Develop and nurture relationships with existing and potential clients.

    Provide exceptional customer service to clients.

    Develop and implement strategies to increase event sales and attract new clients.

    Create and adhere to budgets for event sales and ensure cost efficiency.

    Maintain accurate records of event sales and customer interactions.

    Leadership, Management, and Accountability

    Direct and manage the team to achieve outcomes.

    Conduct the Journeyman Distillery Employee Ecosystem as per the process with every direct report.

    Manage the resourcing of roles within the department, with a focus on cultural fit.

    Coach team members to effectively complete tasks, communicate effectively with other stakeholders and grow their skills.

    Oversee Performance Management of direct reports including terminations ensuring positive and respectful relationships are maintained.

    Continuous Improvement

    Monitor event sales performance, analyze data, and generate regular reports.

    Remain up-to-date with industry trends, technology, and best practices to ensure exceptional service.

    Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a timely manner.

    Requirements

    YOUR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    A bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.

    A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in event planning and management with a proven track record of successfully organizing a variety of events.

    Experience in progressively responsible roles within the events or hospitality industries.

    Familiarity with event management software.

    Familiarity with an Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) is a plus.
