We serve investor-owned utilities, electric cooperatives, municipalities, and industrial power users.     About the Role

    As the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of the organization. Your insights and expertise will guide strategic decision-making and help ensure the company’s long-term financial health. By providing data-driven analysis and actionable recommendations, you will directly influence our growth trajectory and profitability.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the development of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans to optimize resource allocation and support strategic growth initiatives.
    • Design and enhance sophisticated financial models and tools to facilitate accurate reporting and informed decision-making.
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for senior management and the board of directors.
    • Partner cross-functionally to analyze key metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that drive cost optimization and profitability.
    • Collaborate across departments to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.

     

    Key Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.
    • Proven track record of driving financial strategy, managing budgets, and delivering meaningful insights.
    • Exceptional proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and presentation of findings.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
    • High attention to detail and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong leadership skills with a collaborative mindset.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
    • Experience in construction, industrial services, or utility services strongly preferred.
    • Proficiency in accounting and financial software systems.
    • Professional certifications such as CFA, CMA, or CPA preferred but not required.
    • Graduate degree (MBA or master’s in finance, accounting, etc.) preferred but not required.

     

  • Compensation
    $135,000-$165,000 per year
