    Director of Facilities - Multi-Unit Franchisee Restaurant Company - Base Salary to 130k/year - Atlanta, GA

    • Our client is a 30-unit restaurant franchisee that is looking to bring on a Director of Facilities as they continue to modernize their organization. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong facilities to develop a maintenance schedule, provide leadership value with local restaurants and be a part of a continued expansion plan the company has in place. The organization operates units in Atlanta metro as well as a few in Virginia with plans to expand to other states.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee day-to-day maintenance and repair operations across all restaurant locations, ensuring quick resolution of facilities-related issues.
    • Manage and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, plumbing, and building systems.
    • Serve as primary point of contact for facilities vendors and contractors, including negotiation, onboarding, performance tracking, and invoice approval.
    • Track, prioritize, and resolve work orders using a CMMS or ticketing system, ensuring SLA compliance and communication with operations.
    • Partner with Operations and Field Leaders to assess site-specific needs and resolve urgent or recurring facilities issues.
    • Oversee and manage capital repair projects, buildouts, remodels, and upgrades, including budgeting and vendor coordination.
    • Conduct site visits to evaluate condition, ensure compliance with brand and safety standards, and identify repair needs.
    • Develop and maintain facilities budgets, track repair and maintenance (R&M) spend, and identify opportunities for cost control and efficiency.
    • Ensure compliance with local building codes, fire, health, and safety regulations.
    • Coordinate with Accounting and Finance to align invoices, project tracking, and budget reconciliation.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management, Construction, Engineering, or related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in multi-site facilities management, preferably in restaurants, retail, or hospitality sectors.
    • Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, HVAC/refrigeration systems, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
    • Experience with contractor/vendor management and budget oversight.

    Compensation:

    • Base salary in the 100k - 130k/year range, plus bonus opportunity.
