Our partners are seeking a Director of Facilities Operations to lead all facilities management functions at  a 174-bed facility operating jointly with Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Melrose, MA. This role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient operations in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and utilities.

• Lead and manage preventative maintenance and repair programs.

• Hire, train, and supervise facilities staff and managers.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards (e.g., Joint Commission, OSHA, NFPA).

• Manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.

• Support hospital leadership in achieving performance and patient satisfaction goals.

• Oversee additional services such as security, laundry, grounds, or construction projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 5+ years of management experience in facilities operations, preferably healthcare.

• Strong background in trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, plant ops).

• Proven leadership with ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Must Haves:
