Director of Facilities - Resort Style Private Club - Base Salary to 95k/year - Charleston, SC

• Our client. a private club on one of the islands, is looking to bring on a Director of Facilities. The Director of Facilities role works with a small team and will be hands on as needed. The facility has multiple buildings of residential condos but the property is built along the lines of a commercial property. The ideal candidate will come from a commercial or hospitality type of background, but our client open to all commercial facilities background.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive facilities strategy and long-term maintenance plans.
  
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and implement energy-saving initiatives
  
• Collaborate with other departments to support their operational needs and ensure guest satisfaction
  
• Manage capital projects and renovations, coordinating with contractors and vendors
  
• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, providing guidance and training to the engineering team
  
• Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements to drive innovation and efficiency
  
• Scheduling testing of devices around properties (P.R.V’s, sprinkler inspection)

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in engineering management, preferably in the hospitality industry
  
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental practices
  
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
  

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 90k - 95k/year range
