Our client is a nationally recognized hospital.

They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Finance to lead their finance department. This pivotal role offers the chance to make a significant impact on the financial health and strategic direction of their hospital, working in close collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), their parent company, and the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the finance department, overseeing a team of 8-10 professionals.
• Report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and serve as a key member of the hospital's leadership team.
• Collaborate closely with financial colleagues at our parent company to ensure alignment and implementation of best practices.
• Present financial information and insights to the Board of Directors, overseeing hospital-wide budget management.
• Lead significant budget review and analysis processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and strategic resource allocation.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing environment within the finance team.
• Oversee all aspects of payroll operations.
  
• Manage the financial operations and reporting for both the hospital and its affiliated medical practices.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Required: Proven and substantial experience in healthcare finance.
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing finance teams.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization, including executive leadership and the Board.
• A thorough understanding of hospital financial management principles and practices.
