Rapidly growing healthcare organization is seeking a Director of Finance at their headquarters in Dallas, TX to drive financial strategy and performance across the business. As Director of Finance, you will lead all financial planning and analysis activities, partner closely with senior leadership, and play a critical role in guiding strategic decision-making through data-driven insights.
This role will lead a small team, oversee key financial functions including forecasting, budgeting, M&A analysis, treasury, and equity administration, and help shape the financial infrastructure of a business poised for continued growth.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
- Analyze monthly performance, identifying variances and trends, and providing actionable insights
- Develop and track KPIs and financial metrics to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Collaborate with senior leadership to build financial models for new initiatives and acquisitions
- Oversee the company’s cap table and stock option process, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Manage treasury operations, including bank relationships, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity planning
- Evaluate, select, and implement budgeting and BI tools to improve financial reporting and visibility
- Direct and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering continuous learning and accountability
- Play a lead role in M&A activity, including due diligence, modeling, and post-close integration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CPA, or Big Four experience strongly preferred
- 8+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership roles in FP&A or corporate finance
- Experience in healthcare or health insurance industries is a strong plus
- Proven ability to deliver clear financial analysis and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with a track record of building and mentoring teams
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
