Today we are hiring a Director of Finance in Dallas,TX. This leadership role offers the opportunity to manage financial operations for a foundation supporting a major hospital system.

Compensation: $61.06 per hour
Qualifications Required
Bachelor's degree or higher
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) (1+ years)
Financial Leadership (7+ years)
Experience Working in Foundation (4+ years)
Non-Profit (4+ years)
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related discipline - [REQUIRED]
Master’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, or Public Administration-[HIGHLY PREFERRED]
Seven (7) years of experience in a financial leadership position -[REQUIRED]
Four (4) years of experience in the non-profit sector - [REQUIRED]
Experience working in Foundation - [HIGHLY PREFERRED]

Key Responsibilities:
Direct operations and provide strategic oversight to maintain financial integrity of the foundation
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Serve as liaison between the foundation and hospital system
Analyze and improve job design, work processes, and workflows to enhance productivity and effectiveness
Stay updated on industry developments and integrate knowledge into work practices
Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure adherence to laws and accreditation requirements
Develop and monitor annual budgets to support department goals
Set, implement, and revise annual goals and objectives aligned with organizational mission
Select, train, schedule, motivate, supervise, and evaluate employees
Make recommendations for disciplinary actions including termination
Ensure employees have opportunities for professional development
