Title: Director of Human Resources
Office: Northern Bergen County, Park Ridge area. Hybrid Schedule - 4 days in the office, 1 day work from home.
Company: Largest publicly held, nationwide reclaimer and recycler of refrigerant chemicals in North America.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic ownership of all Human Resources functions and team leadership.
- Reporting to the CEO and manage a team of 5 direct reports.
- Drive initiatives in strategic planning, talent management, employee engagement, compliance, and workforce development.
- Ensure all HR programs and initiatives align with the business goals, compliance regulations, and accuracy.
- Develop and implement policies, programs, and practices.
- Provide guidance on HR and payroll-related issues to senior leadership and internal department.
- Implement job descriptions and compensation strategies.
- Lead employee relations initiatives, recognition programs, and the timely updates to and the revision of the employee handbook.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree + SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification.
- 10 years progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 3 years of leadership.
- Expert competencies in HR policies, practices, and laws.
- Demonstrated success leading HR functions in a high-growth and/or startup environment.
- Experience supporting multi-state offices and remote employees.
- Strong financial management skills across HR functions and P&L.
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications.
- Excellent communications and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in the NJ office 4 days a week.
Compensation:
- Base salary $175-200k + 15% annual bonus and full benefits.
